Misc cant get laptop and DS working 2gether with router

hi guys

got a bit of a problem here. My brother has an intel centrino laptop which he currently uses wirelessly using our Belkin 54g router. The laptop work fine using the security settings below:

Security mode: WPA-PSK (wireless protected network with pre shared key) (no server)

Encryption technique: TKIP

Now when i try to use my DS with the router setings it doesnt work! I have to change the security settings to 128-bit WEP in order for the DS to connect.

Now the problem is when i use 128-BIt WEP, my brothers laptop no longer connects to the router.

I need to have both the DS and the laptop to connect to the router at the same time.

can anyone help me out with this please? thanks

Well, you need to setup your brother's laptop to use 128bit WEP, just as you setup the DS to do the same.
