Okay i need some help. Pretty much whats going on is is that i try to play MWR using the backup loader and it pisses me off because it always stops reading the disc in the middle of the game. The problem has become so persistant that I burned a total of 5 discs for one game. I wanted to use the USB loader and i read that an iPod could be partitioned and formatted so i would be able to store games on it. I've tried all that i can such as running the program as an admin and i still cant format it. All it says is "An error occurred while attempting to format the drive" and it is driving me nuts.

Im using WBFS Manager 3.0, my wii system is 4.1, and im trying to partition an iPod.

P.S. I've tried using disc utility to shrink my iPod but it wont let me.

PLEASE HELP ME!

um how do i format it on the wii and the wii can't read FAT32, can it?
Download the Configurable USB Loader, Wii Backup Manager, and install cIOS222/223. And the Wii can read 3 file systems: WBFS, FAT32, NTFS

Ha your topic has a funny right to it. Can you even do that?
An iPod can be used, not sure if WBFS manager will format it but i dont see why it wouldnt. An iPod classic can not be used though, the Wii wont detect it

Try to just treat your IPOD as any other Flash drive (because thats all it really is) I just did what I did with any flash drive but used Fat instead of WBFS

Be sure to check the "Enable Disk Use" option in iTunes when your iPod is plugged in. Also, try formatting it to FAT32 using Windows Explorer and right clicking the drive letter of your iPod and click Format. To begin Disk Mode, hold down the center button and Menu button simultaneously until the black Apple screen appears. When that appears, hold the center button and the play/pause button down simultaneously for a few seconds. Hope that helps.

I'm having the same issues with my iPod, it's the same as yours. I've already formatted the iPod to FAT32 and installed the cIOSs, can anyone help me/us?

I don't know why it's confirmed as working in the Compatibility List...
