Did you remove any and all eshop accounts before formatting?Everytime I try to factory reset my 3Ds an Error shows up. (Error-Code 005-4240)View attachment 291128
Yeah.. I think it's trying to fetch them and it cant because well it's formatted now. That error code is an eshop error, if you can restore the nand with a backup. No I didn't..
If you have cfw installed just boot godmode9 and restore it, if no cfw you might be outta luck for stock options.... As I think the eshop might be down or gone. How do I do that?
Sorry but I don't know much about nand and that stuff..
I think yeah, do you have a nand backup though?I have a cfw and godmode9.
Do I launch godmode9 by pressing power and select
?
It's just been like 3 years since i've booted it... lolI feel you entered entered unknown territory without having any clues![]()
Yes I do.I think yeah, do you have a nand backup though?
try holding start, do you have godemode9 hotkey'd? Like hold X or something?Yes I do.
Yes I do.
I'm in the Luma3DS configuration.
press home and go to scripts there should be a restore nand option.Okay I'm in godmode9, what now?
Which one did you factory reset? Default is sysnand if you didn't make an emunand.Restore EMUnand or SYSnand?
Like if you didn't setup an emunand and factory reset that one, then it's sysnandWhat do you mean by which one?
yep. If you wanna be extra safe back up sysnand then restore your old one. In-case it's not right just restore that newly made backup.Okay so it's sysNAND because I never set up an EMUnand?
