I can't connect my DSi to the internet. I'm typing in everything correctly and even tried google public DNS. Note: I have Unlaunch and TWiLight Menu++ installed if anyone has recommendations.

I don't have much experience with the DSi, as I only have 3DS systems, but...
If you're using the web browser to test the connection, that probably won't work so good as many sites will either not load properly or due to outdated certificates, the DSi will refuse the connection iirc. But Google iirc can load fine on it, so...
Only possible thing I can even think of for what could be causing this would be a configuration of something else on the network, primarily the firewall of your router, perhaps?

It might have something to do with SSL certificates. If they are outdated and not renewed it breaks a lot of web compatibility if I remember right.

I’m not using the browser, it legitimately won’t let me connect to WiFi.
So you can't connect to your router. Were you able to connect to it before? Have you tried using WEP encryption (or even no encryption)?

The DSi is supposed to support WPA just like the 3DS, but it's worth a try.

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.
