I'm trying to package nes roms with the emulator, but I can't build nesDS at all, if anyone is able to build ANY version of nesDS, please tell me what version of NesDS you used and what version of devkitARM/msys you used. Thanks!!

Don't know why you would want packaged stuff but can't you embed them with FCSR? It is an addition for DLDI that was supposed to allow older carts some limited measure of support (and possibly emulators) but should still do for this as you are presumably only doing game loads and game saves (not sure what savestates will be like).
Anyway never so much as looked at the nesDS code so don't know what goes there.
