I opened a title in FBI, the screen was black for 2 minutes so i deciaded to turn off my 3ds. After booting it up a message appeared on the top screen:

An error has occurred:

Failed to get the CTRNAND FIRM.

Press any button to shutdown

I can still access godmode9 and Luma configurations, also my 3ds won't boot with the sd card inserted. I've also looked up several threads with this issue on other forums but none helped me at all, im begging for help please!

Thanks for the reply, I've followed the instructions and looks like my Godmode9 is not the latest version, so I've copied the newer versions on my sd card but like i mentioned it before, my 3ds won't boot with the sd card inserted any advice for that?

What version of B9S are you running?
And did you try updating the boot.firm to the latest version of your CFW?
I might also suggest checking your SD card for issues

So your system only boots with the SD card removed?

Download the latest boot.firm for Luma3DS
If that doesn't work, then try copying the same boot.firm over a random SD card. You don't need any other files, just testing to see if it boots.
If the system boots with the second SD card, your SD card is the problem.

Alright gonna try this now, but if that also failes, does it go away if I delete CFW?

Considering your system boots without the SD card, I wouldn't suggest removing the CFW since there's clearly nothing software nor hardware related to this issue.
You could also just try deleting the boot.firm from your main SD card and seeing if that boots as well. You may have accidentally copied over an old or corrupted boot.firm.
There is a guide to removing it

I still suggest going through everything first before jumping to that.

So uninstalling CFW also removes the error?

I can not stress enough making regular NAND backups, then backing those up.
Because if it's booting directly to an error screen, then you most likely need to restore a clean NAND. In any case, can you boot into GodMode9? Because you most likely need to do a 9.2 CTRNAND transfer to fix this.

Yes I can boot into gm9 and luma configurations, but the problem is I have to update gm9, I currently have version 1.2.1 and step 6 isn't working on this version I think because it doesn't show the option “CTRNAND options…”

Try Decrypt9

Create a folder called "files9" and place the tranfer bin file into that folder.

I've tested several things now sadly with no success, Decrypt9 doesn't, and I can't do this damn 9.2.0 CTRNAND backup step 6 doesn't work it doesn't show the option for the image and I also can't upgrade gm9.....so is my 3ds unusable now?

Why can't you upgrade GM9? I am seriously confused as to what's going on on your end.
