Hey guys. I've been lurking forever but never needed to ask a question until now.

I have my Rock Band 2 backup, and a Frontman wireless guitar (the kind where the remote plugs into it). I used to have it working on my old Wii, but my roomate stole it a long time ago and just got around to getting another one.

I followed THIS guide to a T. Perfectly. Installed the Softchip channel too. It will load the backup, but won't recognize the guitar. I can use the guitar to browse the wii system menu perfectly, just not ingame. I tried to use the multi cios installer to change the different ios' i had. I've seen threads telling me to use IOS37 with IOS37 rev7 dip as IOS 232 and IOS37 with IOS36 rev7 dip as IOS 232, and installing it under 232 or 249. I don't know which to use anymore, all I know is it won't work no matter how i do it. Am I missing something here guys or what? Thanks.

I should also mention that I have FW 4.1U installed.

I solved it myself. I had done everything right on my end. Turns out it was a bad burn(?). I burned it again and it worked fine. Posting this in the rare instance that it might help someone.

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
