This game sounds like fun, why would Ubisoft cancel it. It's not like they have any other REAL games they are working on......*cough*Imagineseries*cough*
Ubisoft has to screw EVERYTHING up, don't they?
So much detail, so much work... gone to waste. I would hate to have been one of the programmers.
That game looks and sounds like the best thing I'll never play.
I realize that the gameplay in the video was probably fully controllable, but I'm sure they could have tweaked the control scheme to be something like that.
SCI FI ROBOT COMBAT IN FUTURE LONDON?!?!?!?
Why would they cancel such a brilliant and original game idea?!
If this was canceled, they better have something really big and awesome up their sleeves.
This is gameplay for it
Multi plataform games are the future. Sad, but true. Revenue is as important as if the game is any good, and also directly proportional, most of the time.
That looks awesome, like a futuristic Assassin's Creed or something, too bad they cancelled it.
woah that does look like a good game .
if i had a PS3, that'd be a sure get game for me .
something like that woulda made me buy a ps3
Same; that image looks incredible, too. So much detail.
ah well; another f*** up for Ubisoft. Not really surprised.
Why would UbiSoft can a game that looks THIS promising? Oh, right... Honestly, I have no idea what they're thinking. Do they want fans or not?
Well, maybe it wasn't turning out as good as they wanted it to.
Honestly, I doubt that video is real-time. It's probably just a vision of what they wanted the game to be like. With something that ambitious and energetic, it's not surprising that someone as hit-or-miss as Ubisoft would cancel it.
Maybe there were a bunch of bugs or something.
looks sweet, but why ps3 exclusive? if they want more people to play it why not make it multiplatform
sucks that its cancelled video looks amazing
PS3 allows for more data per game. Up to 50GB on a dual layered Bluray vs. 8GB or so on a dual layered DVD (which is what all Xbox games use). There's also just devs who want to develop for one system and not the other.
When he pulled out that thing that made the spider mech go yellow I was thinking
"He's not gonna do it, is he?"
Sure enough, he did.
Looks like it was meant to compete with Infamous and Prototype.
If only a game would use up all of that 50gb, could be kick ass depending on what game it is. :>
thats a good point, although they could always just let us download the textures/animations onto our hdd from xbl and just have the gamedata on the disc, but yeah i guess porting stuff is also just extra work
That's a hell of an idea! The only people who would be screwed are the ones without Live.
why wouldn't you have live? silver is free, its not like people still dont have internet connections 0.o the people who would be screwed are the people without hard drives haha
