Canada? New Jersey? Hate? Why?

I was wondering why New Yorkers hate Canadians and New Jersi-ans. Why is that? I'm half-asian half-french, so I've always been wondering that, when watching some movies and TVSeries..

Canadians, we treat like our younger sibling - they're up there just dinkin around, and we tease 'em.

As for New Jersey....watch Jersey Shore.

Jersey Shore isn't an accurate representation of New Jersey. It's a bunch of people getting drunk, partying, and acting like macho men. If you want real New Jersey you drive out to where I am and you'll see nothing but fields surrounded by densely populated communities of generic looking housing. Well, not my street though, but some local places are just like The Stepford Wives of houses.

New Yorkers hate everyone, get used to it.

Canada I suppose because they haven't been involved in many world events. New Jersey may be because of the Jersey Shore, but it's not THAT terrible here. It's just like the suburbs, only people don't make fun of bad driving (we're used to it from lost New Yorkers here

). I heard from my friend in new York that New Yorkers hate New Jerse-ians because some go the NYC and act like hot shit, browse around, and never make an attempt to do anything productive.

Ted keeps saying he hates nothing more than New Jersey, and the whole gang makes fun of Canada xD

I doubt they would hate New Jersey just because of Jersey Shore. It'd be silly. Actually, I don't hate them, that's why I've been wondering.
