Gaming Can you pay for NSO with E-shop cards?

I would just join someone's family plan for like $5-6 instead of paying full price for NSO.
There are NSO cards available though, that's an option.

I don't know about normal eshop cards, but I'd think not if there are cards specific to nso. btw, they are selling family memberships on ebay for less by having other people contribute to the family account. I don't know if you can get caught or get into trouble for doing that. I've never done it, because Nintendo is on the warpath.
