My sd card slot not working and despite sending it back to nintendo have ignored repairing it.
Is there a way to do hacks with maybe a hard drive?

Maybe try to find someone to do an unlicensed repair. Could be something simple to fix?

lol i sent it in back they said, " Sd card is not a relaible way to back up data use a hard drive instead" lol

Tell them you're paying for their services and now that you've paid shipping (there and back) they should be obligated to repair it. I'd honestly be pretty PO'd if I were in your shoes.

if you're under warranty they have no choice but to repair your sd card slot, tell them that.
