Also about the CIA files, is there a website that has a list of like, all the games or something so I don't have to go around downloading from sketchy sites?

That's nothing anyone can direct you to. You're going to have to find the CIAs on you own. :gba:

So, would you reccomend SKY3DS or Gateway darkomen64

Kinda Both... I like the things that the gateway allows.. loading roms onto the built in sd card.. downloading eshop items off the net home brew, ect..

Basiclly the gateway allows you to do more.. and the sky3ds ONLY allows roms, if you get a gateway you HAVE to have Zelda OOT (can get quite costly, and it might not work and you need a way to inject a save game on it..) or cubic ninja (simple just pop in the cartridge and go) cubic ninja is getting harder to find cheap.. you might beable to get it on ebay for$20-$40, you MIGHT beable to get it from gamestop MAYBE... the closest one to me that had it was 120 miles away.. very much not with the gas to drive there... thats why i went wth amazon.. cost more but i had it in 2 days and was brand new.. stick in wrapper

Now if i had a sky3ds i could use that to load cubic ninja and then used that to load into gateway.. would have cost a bit more (about $30 more) but then i would have a 2nd 3ds card i could load games on.. and if i wanted to play something with a friend he could use it while we placed as it requires nothing done to the 3ds it self to play any games...

Also to use a gateway you HAVE to have firmware version 9.2 or lower... Sky3ds can use all current firmware just pop it in a go

Dang :c Okay, well, are you allowed to at least tell me if there is a reputable website out there, without naming names? :P

Yes. Go with Gateway. You only need one and you can install it on both your systems.

Also get Cubic Ninja for your N3DSXL.

The main website that everyone gets their roms from has a section for .3ds format and .cia format.

Here's a hint : The website is a Craze E 1;)

Powersaves Pro 3DS is a dongle you connect to your PC and then use original cartridges in. Currently it works only with original cartridges and some games work using Sky3DS.

If you have original catridges and just want to max out your money or items, Powersaves Pro 3DS is a cheap buy.

It comes with the usb cord, 3ds adpater and a registration key for the software you can download from their site.

It also makes backups of your savedata. IT DOES NOT MAKE ROM DUMPS.

Also, the savedata backups from Powersaves Pro are encrypted and not cross-compatible with Gateway.

Much easier to use than Gateway or any flashcart if all you need is cheats.

It also can help you pull the private headers needed for the Sky3DS to play online.
