To translate, you can learn Japanese.

To romhack, you can start with romhacking.net, FAST's guide on here, his 101 romhacking guide on Filetrip and you can look up romhackers' old topics to see how they started.

Well, the first step is to learn English; yours is atrocious.

This. It doesn't matter how well you read Japanese or hack roms; if you can't string a sentence together you're worse than useless.

Actually... that'd just make his translations useless cause you wouldn't be able to understand it :/
But it doesn't make him worse than anything except not being great at English.

If you had read my post within the context of this thread you would have realized what I meant. The addendum "at making translation patches" was very much implied.

Sorry when I was typing that I was typing fast. My English is actually pretty good I was dead tired and wanted to post this so i typed fast. I was born in America so I know the language well enough. When I write fast or type fast it comes out like that, but you didn't need to insult me .What i mean is how to hack the rom and i need to learn some Japanese, but my school doesn't have Japanese classes. If anyone would help it would be greatly accepted.

Steal a Japanese language course from the internet. Rosetta Stone comes highly recommended although I never got past cat/dog/man/woman.

EDIT: Oh, I learnt a few colours and how to count from 1 - 10 too.

Rosetta Stone will help you quite a bit, but I learned from Japanese books as I learned on Rosetta Stone.
Get a few Japanese penpals too, practicing with someone who speaks the language helps alot.
