I have an external hard drive. Toshiba made it and it has 1 terabyte of storage.
Will this work on my Wii?
The reason I ask this is because I noticed other people on this forum had problems with their terabyte hard drives.

I feel like in the best case scenario it's gonna slow down your Wii with how much data there is, worst case it's gonna crash constantly. It ain't that powerful

I believe that it actually can! As long as the drive is formatted to Fat32. Take my words with a grain of salt though, as I haven't been in the Wii homebrew scene for a while.

Yes, I believe that the Wii can support up to 2TB as long as they are formatted in FAT32. Using Windows, formatting anything above 32GB into FAT32 will require special software, and almost all modern HDDs don't come in FAT32 format.

I've heard that anything above 2TB will require a lot of tinkering.
