can i watch direct tv on psp using homebrew

    can i watch direct tv on psp using home-brew? i was surfing on the web and i saw something saying that you can watch your direct tv recordings on ur psp when you hook your receiver up to your wireless router.... can some tell me if i can do this and give me a link to download it? thankyou

    eh....yes AND no.
    There was a PSP TV homebrew, but it applied to only a few specific channels, all of which sucked.
    It was hard to install and the payoff wasn't that good, so it was scrapped, IIRC.

    Make that a Yes, Yes and no, Jolan.

    In Japan, there exists a technology called 1seg. If you buy a 1seg tuner for your PSP, you can watch TV in Japan as they use 1seg signals to transmit data.
