Hacking Can I use a WPA Wi-Fi code in place of a WEP code on my DS Lite?

on my DS lite when i try to manually set up the settings for my wireless router it has SSID which i enter and then it has WEP code but the code that came with my router is WPA. i was wondering if they were different and if i could change the settings on my ds to accept WPA codes?

WPA and WEP are different. In addition, the ds lite can not accept WPA, so change your wireless settings to WEP

On DS games, you can only use WEP. On DSiWare games, like Flipnote Studio, you can do WPA. It sounds like you need to change the settings on your router to be WEP.

You may as well just use WEP because it's really no secure than WPA in any case or you can use aircrack and just use another local network.

The DS lite only supports WEP and no security when it comes to router security. ANY other type of security will not work with the DS lite.

WEP isn't overly recommended, but really, you can just make sure nobody is piggy backing off your connection if you're worried.
