Can I get banned adding items using an ACNL save editor?

Pretty much anything you're not supposed to do though you could hide your homebrew under a normal 3ds title. Extract your save with a save manager then edit it on a computer maybe?

Honestly youll be fine probably though. You can always just unban yourself

You can get banned because someone told Nintendo that you like American football, as Nintendo Network is a private service and they don't have any obligation to let you in

That said nobody is known to have been banned for an edited town
