yes i tried it. the m3 and g6 work at select menu stage and so on but after games has loaded the 2 screens go black.

And further more i cant change the firmware because it doesnt load either just black screens.

you mentioned a second ds, why can't you use that one to update any firmware? there is no new nds way to block flash kits. no reports of it, no news, and no one talking about it. the problem is with your contacts, your kits, or msd cards, the firmware, etc. debug the kits not the ds.

when i mentioned updating the firmware i was talking about the actual ds firmware not the flashcarts. the first thing i did when this problem started was update all flash carts. i have formatted and reinstalled new software on them. like i said the carts work fine on the other ds that i have, so im sure its a problem with the ds and not the carts. i cleaned the contacts inside the slot 1 hole although maybe not the best clean, hard to get anything down there to clean. And wouldnt the cart be not recognised at all if it was a contact problem. The cart works perfectly on my other ds, like i say the m3 software loads up, i then select a rom, it also loads up but instead of game start i get 2 black screens ??? oh well got fed up and bought another ds today, perhaps thats exactly what nintendo wanted.
