I agree it is fun, but it truly does look BAD. It rly pissed me off how devs are so dang lazy when working on the wii. I assure you this game in no way has the best shooter graphics for the wii. Even though the conduit which flopped BIG TIME still looked better than this game despite its bad art direction & messed up lighting. It looks worse than a sega dreamcast game. The textures are so bland its not even funny. I swear at times you would think that they are 8x8 lol no joke. Its as if they are using .bmp's instead of .dds for their texture containers/ compression.

Does deathmatch work for anyone? I can only seem to play team deathmatch, regular deathmatch never finds anyone.
The game isn't released, so there is simply no one in that game mode.
The only multiplayer mode which is alive is team deathmatch (and I always find the same match lol)

LOL, I was asking the same question myself, until the answer hit me

FFA is active as now, and is great. There are cheaters already though, so beware! But I for one don't care: imagine being them getting up in the morning, turning on their wii's thinking: I am still in the top10? OMG AM I STILL THERE? - all sweating and shaking.... Don't fear these minions of low self-esteem, buy the game and see you online! GL!

How do people even cheat? I never understood that. I've looked online and can't find any info. Is it done to the iso before it us burnt?

It's done the same way as all the other games, via an homebrew channel app, Gecko, it works just like the old cheat cartridges did for PS1, you type codes in.

You can get lots of codes for games at http://wiird.l0nk.org/forum/index.php , they're all offline cheats, they don't do online cheats. The Call of Duty codes are coming from other sites and there's nothing Treyarch can do to stop them because Ninty doesn't allow game patching or banning mac codes or whatever.

I'm not going to bother with this, online gaming was a great idea that was never going to work because there's too many twats out there who are very poor players but know how to type a code in and will.

I agree, how a game looks should not interfere with how fun it is and also, it doesn't look too good. When people say "... for a wii game" they really mean it stinks, like the wii is an absolute abomination that spreads pure evil. (which they probably think so which would make then ignorant fan boys/girls) So yeah I agree, I've seen plenty of prettier wii and gamecube games.

ps: awful graphics don't help with the frame rate either, it is only 30 fps rather than the proper call of duty 60fps

It's official the game has been hacked(it's on the news sites) since day 1 just like i though, but the good thing is that only the person who hosts the game can make use of the hacks. The only way to have a fair game is if you host it, and you not a hacker yourself.....this might be bad news for the announced tournament.

@Sicklyboy - the comparison would be forgiving all medical debt, not making healthcare illegal!

Although I still don't agree, medical debt is rarely a choice, whereas enrolling in university is certainly a choice

College costs, college loans, book prices, the entire thing is predatory, oft touted as essential to a successful life for my generation and the ones since, and completely unaffordable without putting you through an insane financial hardship for literal decades in many situations.

It's important for society to be healthy and educated. If those things can't happen because all of the institutions that prop up those industries make it unattainable for all but a small portion of society, then your society is largely going to be disease ridden, dying, and uneducated in very short order.

Issue is it's too rich of a coperation already with bad sugar diets causing diabetes and killing teeth a new set of teeth around 90k
  • cearp @ cearp:
I agree it's not easy for the average American, let alone the ones below that average. Free / cheaper healthcare is much more important I think than free university education.
Of course like @mthrnite said, why not both. But I doubt both will get solved at once, and surely healthcare is top priority.

And if the concern is that "well we can't trust the government to intervene for this because the government can't do anything right and wastes tons of money" then holy shit push for a better government. • cearp @ cearp:
@K3Nv2 that's crazily expensive. how long will that take to pay off?

Although diet is largely education, people don't need to go to university to learn what's healthy and what's not,
it's the whole country, big corporations and advertising that is to blame for leading most of the population to believe that poptarts and froot loops are healthy to feed a child
  • mthrnite @ mthrnite:
i would think the population knows better but with food deserts and abject poverty, sometimes a poptart gonna have to do.

  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
As someone who went through the grade school system in the US some time within the past 30 or so years, not nearly enough is done to promote and educate on how to eat healthy in a way that is feasible to do on a regular basis and also affordable. Eating healthy is, comparatively, fucking expensive. So is eating unhealthy, but in many cases eating unhealthy is more affordable than eating healthy
