Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Reflex is the latest first-person shooter for the Wii, released on November 10, 2009. Developed by Treyarch, who also developed CoD: World at War, CoD: MWR is a port of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. The game will feature all of the aspects of the 360/PS3/PC versions, including game modes, weapons, perks, etc. The only difference with MWR is that it's 5 players to a team, and there is no voice chat.

Personally, I think this game is going to be a big part of the Wii community. By that, I mean that it is going to be one of the most played games on the Wii. CoD4: MW on the 360, as far as I know, is the most played game on Xbox Live, and it's 2 years old. I've already pre-ordered through Amazon.com, and I can't wait to own some people. If you want tips or advice on how to play well, just post here, and I'll give you some help with the game when it's released, or even before then. I have been playing CoD4 on the PC since launch, so you can expect my advice to be good. [IMG]

First off, excellent thread, very well made, thanks a lot dude.

I'm downloading it currently. I always thought higher of 4 than 5 and I'm looking forward to this.

FYI, PAL release is already dumped, obviously.

Yeah, I saw that in the Wii releases earlier, and I also like 4 more than WaW (Except for campaign...I like WaW's more). I don't have my Wii modded though, and since I don't have an SD card, I can't mod it. If I can pick up a cheap 2GB one before my copy arrives, I'll mod it, but only because I want to test this it out before I get the retail version. I finally got a job, so I can start buying my games again (I'm one of those people who gets more fun out of a retail version than a pirated version)...

Sadly, it does not. There was hope for it, as it said there was support for it on a slide in a presentation that Treyarch gave somewhere, but it was a mistake that the creator of the presentation made (I guess he wasn't too informed about the game).

You should see the graphics. They are remarkable for a Wii game.

I swear to God, you don't do anything productive when it comes to Wii discussions. All you do is fucking troll. Go find something productive to do or either go to a different site or stick to your PS3 forums. Jesus Christ...

Can't stand playing FPS games on a control pad, feels like a massive step back. On the Wii however the likes of this, Conduit, World At War and even Metroid Prime 3 (different type of game but the controls are pretty much the same as FPS) have proven how much better it is to have motion control on a console so much so that the others are ripping it off.

Couldn't get into the game on 360 due to the control pad but I loved the PC version to bits, this version is astonishing! Really is, controls well and every part of the gameplay is in tact. I am more than happy to replay this again on my Wii when I have finished all the other releases. Treyarch have done great justice to a landmark FPS game and on a console that may be lacking in the hardware department.

Really goes to show how much of a joke HVS are when they were touting The Conduit to be the greatest looking Wii game ever that a port that hasn't even had the time spent completley blows it out of the water. Such a shame that Infinity Ward are being pissy and not let Treyarch put there name in the game as they did such an amazing job.

Would love to see a game by them built exclusively for the Wii.

Is motion plus required/optional/not needed for the game? I heard the controls are well done so I wouldn't really care if it had it or not. I'm definitely going to purchase this game as I've been hearing nothing but good things about it besides the "flaws" mentioned by fanboys.

I gotta wait for the US version though.
