Hi.
Yes I know I made a topic about this a while back and I am back again lol.
I just have a few questions.
Are there any things I should be aware of? (Legit-ness wise)

The system appears to be PAL, can I convert it to USA?

Is it better to boot my games off my internal hard drive or external hard drive?

Its a FAT PS3 and it says its backwards compatible with PS2 games. Can these be played off a hard drive too?

I have heard that fat PS3's are very prone to over heating and dieing. If this occurs can it be fixed? Is there any better solution than a fan mod? Is doing a fan mod easy?

Will I be able to play online?

Thanks.

you don't need to convert anything because the ps3 is region free
it doesn't matter if you play from internal or external. some game works only from one or the other but most of them works both internal or external. here there's a compatibility list
I think they can be played from hd with the cobra dongle. I'm not sure because I don't own one.
no you can't play online on cfw

With cobro dongle, you can play PS2 games on PS3. And you can not play online. It doesn't matter where you boot the game, but some games you can only play them from internal hdd.
