I am not sure. I just walked into the room and found it attacking the DS. And the sound does not work either.bangbanger said:You can replace the screens. How did the cat open the system up?

The screens can be purchased for less than $27 (DX). The speakers can be had for $30 (powergamingparts.com). So far thats $57 (including shipping). Seems less than a new one to me. Granted, there is no guarantee that these parts will fix your DS. But the cost to attempt the repair would be less than buying a new one.UltraMagnus said:quite frankly, if you have to replace both screens and the speakers, the parts will probably cost more than a new DS.
