The compability chart has conflicting information, so can anyone confirm if it does have spindown problem?

I know rev13 fixed the problem, but I'd rather have a drive that doesn't spin down in the first place.

yes I also know Seagate Freeagent would be the best choice for me, but Buffalo drives are on sale now so I want to give it a try.

I moved my WBFS drive from a WD MyBook to a Buffalo Ministation 250GB.

I've let is sit and run for about 5 to 6 hours on games like Galaxy, Brawl and Zack and Wiki.

So far, there have no issues whatsoever using USB Loader GX and Configurable Loader. I actually didn't even modify the setting out of the box for the HDD. I did a quick format to get rid of the pre-installed software and when went to WBFS.

It's not a thorough test, but surely a very positive one.

i have 2 fat32 partitions and a wbfs partition and never had a problem with it.

we also played bloombox party for about 13 hrs last weekend (running non stop) and it worked fine.

PS where are they on sale ? might get another (this one was supposed to be for work purposes lol )
