I have an o3ds, 9.9.0-27.

Also me randomly brainstorming: Has anyone tried ad hoc and a minimal webserver to load a simple page? If such a thing would be possible, all that's needed is to run browserhax on your pc.

So you got BrowserHax on your 3ds? I'm on the same version but nothing.

So it doesn't work with O3DS right?

I'm getting "The internet browser can not be used at this time" error

Although, i may be doing something wrong.

These steps are roughly what you should do:
  1. Disconnect on your PC from WiFi (no wifi means no nintendo connect).
  2. Create an ad hoc network and activate it.
  3. Use a simple webserver tool (Mongoose)
  4. Figure out your local IP with ipconfig.
  5. Add a new 3ds connection and choose your created network.
  6. Navigate to your local IP.
  7. It should give one of these two: A folder list or the contents of and index.html file.
And remember; This is brainstorming! Not a method. I would test it myself but my WiFi adapter doesn't support AP creation.

In this moment, will be great if an offline method to load BrowserHax is discovered/available for everyone!

You mean something like Smealum Eshop app? If that's the case, we still need a primary hax to launch HBL.
Is there a fix/solution for the Old3dsXl 10.1.0-27e?
As being reported so far, sadly no for o3DS.

Small problem (maybe). When connecting to the ad hoc network on the 3ds, it fails the connection test because it can't access the internet through it..

Am i doing something wrong?

Not exactly... I mean through a local web server or something like that (as some old SpiderHax launching methods)!

No, probably not. Maybe you need to first setup the connection with your internet active to pass the connection test? Then you can disable it.

:!: I am still brainstorming!

That won't work, this kill switch they added uses HTTPS, so you can't put a man-in-the-middle to spoof it.

Is it possible to get the old browser installed again since we can get browserhax working again?

If you're on any firmware above 9.2, you can't modify the system, so no. If kernel access ever comes out above 9.2, then you could.

To be able to install CIA (old firmware), you need kernel exploit. So until you see CFW on the firmware of your 3DS, there's no way to revert.
Hmm, i saw on the official site of ''smea'' something about themehax, so, does it mean we must all install themehax for now?
Yes if you don't have other Paid hax or Ironhax. Also don't update to 10.2 to make the situation much worse until further notice from Smealum.
