Hacking Browser and camera not working.

Basically, i'm trying to install CFW to my 2nd 3ds so I can have both on CFW, that way I can get rid of my gateway card. My O3DS was on 4.3 but I used ORAS to update to 7.2 (or whatever the cart gives) as the browser wouldn't load the decrypt9 web addresses (turns out that I don't think cart updates update the browser so it was redundant.
I tried each of the addresses from 3ds.guide and it would say along the lines of 'executing xxx file' but then would crash back to homescreen, I realized I had the two files needed in my files9 folder instead of the root, after fixing that oversight now when I try each of the addresses it freezes the web browser and I am forced to hardreset the console, I also cannot use the camera or faceraiders as both give me an error and tell me to hold down the powerbutton and turn off the console.

What is my best bet from where I am, should I update to latest firmware and go from there or is there something else I am doing wrong.

~Got the two decrypt9 files on root, trying each address hard locks console or sometimes crashes to homescreen
~Camera doesn't load and crashes and tells me to hold down power button and restart and so does faceraiders (both have previously worked a while back)
~Tried system format, and deleting the browser cache several times and no luck.

At this point you're best to update to 11.2, use the guide with sound hax as an entry point and leave pokemon cart in there

Thanks for the reply , I don't know what even fixed anything, but after a good 50+ attempts at each url one finally allowed me to set up decrypt9 and now i'm currently installing moon, haven't had a chance to check if the camera is fixed with the update up to 11.2 yet though. I'm just stumped at why it crashed so many times in a row then decided to work aha.
