Hacking Broken the end of the touch-module ribbon? No worries!

After fixing my first problem, I accidentally ruined the ribbon cable for the touch module. But, I was not about to give up, so I snipped the end off with scissors and proceeded to sand down the end. New tracks bared I inserted the ribbon into the clip and eureka!

Just though this might be helpful for those who have broken the tip, and figure they will have to buy a whole new touch module. Cheap enough, but time consuming, only because postage takes a while

Wow, that's some pretty thrifty thinking (maybe that's not the right word here). I wonder if this would work for a top screen ribbon?

It should work with any ribbon cable, as long as it's still long enough.

Only problem with the top ribbon is that its size changes between the end and the body. The touch ribbon is consistently the same size so it's easily reinserted. I think if your top screen ribbon is stuffed you're in for a new top screen >
