Hacking Broken Home button. Any other ways of exiting games on emunnand?

Today I tried to use my MMn3ds and found that the homebutton was not working. I can't send it to nintendo because my mmn3ds was originally a japanese model and I had the motherboard swapped with 9.0 american one. Right now i have to power off the system and re enter emunnand before i can switch games.

Isn't the home button attached via a ribbon cable on the n3DS? You could try finding a replacement part for that. That or perhaps the ribbon cable isn't seated properly. The ribbon cables are really picky on how they should be inserted. If they are even slightly off, console doesn't boot or something doesn't work.
