Hacking Broken Hinge?

Well the plastic housing is definitely damaged. So i would recommend a housing change. It shouldn't be the angle adjuster assuming it still functions correctly...

The angle adjuster is actually quite hard to break.

I find it weird though how it wants to click into place a few times right when I open the DS. That could be the housing though.

Right, the plastic part that is sticking up connects directly to the angle adjuster. And when it is damaged, it does not "lock" in place with the angle adjuster tightly, so it slips and clicks at weird angles.

By the looks of it you may even be able to fix it with a bit of superglue/airfix glue (don't know if that's safe on DS plastic...) Though you would need to be careful not to glue the entire hinge shut

Of course if you did that and it didn't work, you could always buy a replacement case anyway...

Plus with your black parts you could mix'n'match

I think it's beyond super glue!

I'll just get a replacement case off dealextreme and see if I can do it!
