Hacking Broken hinge DSL

My DS lite's hinge is broken so now the top screen just flops around like it was greased up, so was wondering what I could do to fix it? Would buying a new shell be an option?

You could try fixing it by taking off the case and using epoxy to re-attach the part that broke off.
Of course, you could always get a replacement case. It'd be simpler, but more expensive, also I've heard they don't always sit/fit right, not the same quality and the colors can be off.
