Bring Back the Duke
Homebrew Bounty News!
duke_nukem_gbatemp_homebrew_bounty_normmatt.jpg

Normmatt, developer of AKAIO, has recently disclosed to me that he is working on bringing the Duke back! Norm has obtained the source code for the now defunct Duke 3D NDS Homebrew port. The updated project has already been compiled with the latest DevKitARM and LibNDS, which means DSi-Mode support. After a brief discussion with Normmatt, I have learned that the project will probably include sound support, with plans for possible other enhancements as well. More information will be posted when it becomes available to us.

This project is being developed exclusively for the: Homebrew Bounty.

hmmmmm.... i don't have time to play with myself.

but still this is going be great

try to make it the adult version with stripers showing stuff and shit like that and make duke throw money that would be the shit!!

Sweet! now lets just hope this works out.....

Things involving Duke Nukem have a tendency of.....getting lost....to say the least

AWESOME! I always wanted to play DN3D on my DS, and when I tried it out, it was absolutely terrible. The sound was awful, the controls were jittery and the game froze up very occasionally. I really hope Normatt resolves these issues... Imagine it running at 60 frames!

EDIT: Slot-2 RAM expansion support, please!

GPF already ported Duke 3D to the DS back in 2007 already... it just works great over here....

Did people already forget about this?

Doesn't want to run for me...
Sometimes it says something about a graphics ceiling and shows a distorted NEOFLASH splash screen on the bottom, other times it gets past that but shows a white screen after immediately after.
