Couldnt be bothered reading through the previous pages, but to my knowledge moonshell DOES have the tendancy to corrupt Micro SD's.

Have you tried another Micro SD?

I haven't heard of Moonshell being able to corrupt Micro SDs. I understand some Micro SD's can suddenly fail for no apparent reason(Like the cheap one I use, but that hasn't failed yet. Then again I haven't updated Moonshell to 2.07). How can Moonshell corrupt a Micro SD? Does this happen only on the Acekard or does it also happen on other carts? I don't remember seeing anything about that on their website though I didn't really read through their list of update fixes.

Gentlemen,Gentlemen ... Purleeesee... Can we get back onto subject

Firstly - jojoj. Can we have a little bit more info so that we can help you
Are you using a AK or AK2i ? & what firmware are you using AK own or AKAIO ??
Are you using a DSPhat/DSLite or DSi ?

When you say 'Bricked' what exactly do you mean ?
When you switch on what happens ??
Do you get the 'loading' screen come up, or nothing, or perhaps 'System Files Missing' ?
Do you actually get to the AK or AKAIO file selector screen ??
We really need a bit more info to try & help you out

Secondly - Although I haven't had trouble with MS 'bricking' - I have had trouble when updating
If I just copy over the newer MS folder(s) over onto my memory card sometimes it will not startup, so I usually have to backup the card & format it (with Panasonic formatter) - then I install AKAIO, new MoonShell then everything else in the backup I made (other than AKAIO & MS naturally) & this usually cures the problem
