Sorry for the long post and for the bad english, I'm just kind of panicked. And sorry if I'm making this thread on the wrong place or with the wrong title.

My 3DS was at the 11.2.0-35U version, and it runs by emunand9 (don't know it that's the exactly name, I've hacked it in march 2016 and use aurei and the Ocarina of Time entrypoint). It is in autoboot and with uncart and aurei/homebrew before the system starts if I press R, L or L+B. I'm giving that information to see if I can explain better my homebrew and how my emunand is working. I've lost my HD data and lost my sysnand/emunand backups with it, so using backups isn't an option.

When I got the 11.3.0–36U tomorrow, when my 3DS restarted, it just get in a black screen and then both screens turns off. They're not in black screens, they're literally off. The blue light in the 3DS remains on and I have to turn it off holding the power button. But if I start with the aurei or emunand, it gives a "no aurei found"/"no emunand found", and uncart is working just fine, I managed to start to create a Pokémon Y CIA. And, finally, if I turn on my 3DS without the SD card it just shut down, blue light and all.

I can post some images of the 3DS screen in uncart or aurei/emunand messages, or even a print of the SD content. And don't care about saves or having to redo all the process of the hacking or returning it to the sysnand, I just want my 3DS to work.

Aurei is outdated, and so is your method of booting it.

Follow this guide 3ds.guide

And at the end you'll be able to flash your emunand to sysnand. This will fix everything, and give you brick protection and other cool features.

Yeah, I was a bit careless. My 3DS card reader just broke and I didn't used it for something like 6 months. It come back from the repair tuesday and it was pretty automatic to update it. Thank you so much, I'll see if I can make it work.

You should be able to, it sounds like an easy fix. Let me know if you have any questions.

If you can't boot into sysnand you will have to get a hardmod and flash your backup.

OP, do you have a9lh installed? I'm a bit confused now.

I'm not sure. Will it be more clear if a post a print of my SD content? I can do it right way.

Also, I have a friend that made the same hack I did, we've done it together, but he hasn't made the att yet, there is something I can make with his emunand/sysnand that can help?

Did you have to downgrade to 2.1 to hack it?

Do you have a file called arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of your sd card? I bet you do, and if so you already have a9lh - and this will be a really quick fix.

Yeah, I did. Something like downgrading to 2.1 and upgrading to 9.X after. There was a lot of downgrading to upgrade back.

Yes, it's on my SD root, but I don't know how to start through it.

Ok good, upgrade to the latest build of luma and when you have it put decrypt 9 in the payloads folder and rename it to x_decrypt9. When you boot select the options you want for luma, reboot the console and press x as it boots. You willload into decrypt9 and select sysnand options, flash nand, and restore your latest backup.

Can you boot without the sd card?

I don't need to install luma, I just have to put it on the CIA folders, right? I'm not able to load the menu of the emunand or the FBI, I will do it after booting from decrypt9, is that it? I'm looking on the 3ds.guide post to see how to do it, sorry if I'm getting it wrong.

Luma isn't a CIA, it is a cfw.

It didn't worked. I downloaded both (decrypt9 and luma), put it in the root of the SD inside a "luma" folder, created the "payloads" folder inside the "luma" folder, put the decrypt9.bin inside the "payloads" renamed as "x_decrypt9.bin". Have I done something wrong? It gets the screens off as if I haven't pressed any button. Shouldn't I use the arm9loaderhax?
