Hacking Bravely Default Gateway

hi anyone can share their save game file with around 10-20 villagers? thanks for the help. I could not get the homepass thing to be of use. I tink a game save file would be faster.

Uhm i can share my save with 30+ villagers somewhere in chapter 4 and norende is already nearly build up, just one more building needs to finish if I remember correctly.... but I assume you want a save with 10-20 villagers as early as possible into the game, right?


Edit: yah I just had to check again, because I havent played that save anymore, since I bought a retail cartrige of it ^^ It got over 30 villagers. All buildings are either max lvl or finish max lvl in about an hour, only one building, that I just had started to build last lvl, but there soon will be an army of workers finished with the other buildings, so basically, that last building could be finished in just a couple of hours ^^
If anyone wants that save, then say so, I will share it

the 131 villagers file save i tried not working with the rom i am having. hmm i dun mind having the 30 villagers 1? i can restart in new game and have 30 villagers?

thats the file... but seriously dunno, whether or not you can just use it like that... probably gotta rename it to your file's name
and also, this is the EUR version, so you gotta use the EUR rom, but with gateway there should be no problem playing the EUR rom on non-EUR 3ds system



edit: never mind, just took a look at the 131 villager file, it got the same name, so the names dont differ, they are all the same, hope you can just use the save without any problems

Guys I have done the Homemade Streetpass thingie and I have like 24 visitors in my Mii Plaza. But when I enter the game it says I haven't passed by anyone. I tried having game suspended and got 6 streetpasses but nothing. Any ideas? This is on 3DS XL with latest emunand 7.1

well. homepass/spotpass only caches the six last contacts. if none of them have enabled bravely default streetpassing you don't get any.

best way to get many villagers is therefor:

a) collect streetpasses untill you have 10 (don't check in the game, check in the homemenu notifications (the green chatbubble icon on top)).
b) do a backup of your emunand (easiest way would be to use the emunandtool by n1gthy)
c) import the streetpasses into bravely default (update thingy in the game)
d) save, exit
e) restore the emunand backup
f) unless you have enough villagers goto c)

as said: before entering the game check your notifications, mii plaza doesn't matter. if you've got any BD passes they will be shown there with the count out of ten received under the BD icon.

and for villagers it doesn't matter if you've already "met" them, each pass gives one villager.


oh, and in the hope that only those who have streetpassing in bd enabled are following this thread i propose the homepass MAC 4E:53:50:4F:4F:BD as a bd only MAC, in the hope that each time one homepasses with it he/she will get six passes.

How many addresses do you have to cycle so you get a hit? So far I've cycled at least 30 mac addresses and still no hit than?

cycling through the 16 from the established 4E:53:50:4F:4F:4X pool (10 mins pause, random order) yielded me four today.

Thanks I got it working I was a bit unlucky last night and I thought something wasn't working right and I also changed mac addresses manually at the start. Now I got a script doing it and I'm fine It takes some time but it works.

I'm glad it's working now and you are very welcome.

Just remember to take a backup as described when you have enough hits, so you can bridge any bad luck dry spells you might get in the future (of course taking a backup of your then current emunand first).

Anyone have any luck on getting a fight with Nemesis in Norende with Gateway? Seems like another limitation for not being able to "Updated Data" in the game.

aye, I'm full atm (iirc 10, sadly all of them still a wee bit to strong for me).

most likely most people haven't noticed yet that one should share a nemesis with their Xpass profile.

I've got three nemesis (nemesi? nemeses?) out of 10 Xpasses in my "cheaty" emunand dump.

this "getting villagers" does only work with emunand on 6.3> ?
