Does bootmii use 249 so that save data is included in the nand backups? I ask because extracting a bootmii nand with showmewads gives a smaller folder size than an FSToolbox dump. I've been using FSToolbox v.4 but I get an es_identify ret-1029 error when loading cIOSx 249 base 57. Although the dumping process starts and finishes, I'm not sure if the error has any impact on the final outcome or not.

What is the best method to create and extract a 100% complete nand backup including save data?

But if you cant have bootmii as Boot2 then you have to install bootmii's own ios by running the HBC setup that way when you press the home button in HBC you get the option to go to bootmii ios version
