Hacking BootMii NAND Backup Error -1?

Ive been trying to make a backup of my NAND with BootMii but everytime i run the BackupMii it says:

BackupMii v0.6ÂÂ NAND ID: addc8099
f_write(otp) short: 0 bytes
Short write to block 0: 0 bytes
Backup failed: -1

And after that it stays frozen. My SD is a 1GB Lexar and has everything working fine except this, it has 628MB of free space and i formated it to FAT.

Anyway I can fix this? Im tired of getting this error

I had the same problem with my old SD card.

Try formatting with the official sd card formatter:
http://www.sdcard.org/consumers/formatter/

Use that to format the card and only put back the bootmii folder on it and try again. If that doesn't work, then bootmii must not like your SD card and you would need a different one. I do know someone that had formatting and only putting on the needed files work to fix that for them though.

WHAT THE HELL!?!

How can it just work like that? I just formated it with that software and it workd flawlessly! This is INSANE.

Remember, to fix error -1 just format it with SD Card Formatter xDDD

This fixed my error also, hooray and thanks!

although the panasonic formatter makes windows want to format your sd. so to get around it you do everything like before(when u got the -1 error) and when bootmii ios tells u to insert your card for the nand dump, THEN you remove card from wii and use panasonic formatter. Now put it back in wii and proceed to dump ur nand as god intended

after this its readable in windows and has you nand.bin for copying.
