How do I stop the bootmii window from popping up everytime I start the wii? It wouldnt be so bad if I didnt have to press the reset button on the console to select the wii icon.

It won't pop up if the SD card isn't inserted when you turn the Wii on. Of course, pressing reset once is probably a bit easier than removing the SD card, turning the Wii on, then putting it back in. If you don't plan to do something you need the SD card for, just take it out.

Thanks for the options, I think Ill opt to go the bootmii config editor route.. I just did the softmod via modmii and just switched over to a an external hard drive, do I need any of the files on the sd anymore, I think they are the files in the "COPY_THES_FILES_TO_CARD" directory? can I put them on the ext drive now? Do I even need an sd anymore for game saves?

Thanks for the help, Im muddling through all of this now.. the hard work everyone put in to these utilities sure do make it easy.

You NEED to have the bootmii files on your sd card, bootmii doesn't support USB HDD's.
