OK, let's make it like this..I don't want to close this thread as well, because some members might want to say something about this matter, and I don't want another thread opened for the sake of that!

Any member that posts something pointless after me, any kind of "lol" respond to this, any stupidity, WILL GET WARNED!

I really hate to do this, but you guys got out of the hand with bashing this....Post your opinions in cultural manner, and everything will be OK, post here just to make fun or "raise your post count" and you'll get warned or even suspended for few days..

Quoted so everyone could see the "terms" on this page!!

I rolled with laughter at the fact he trashed everything! What a baby!

A first I felt SORRY for the guy because of how he seemed to be a little on the mentally insane side. Now...he is just a PATHETIC piece of crap. Cry for us, little boy.

I knew he'd never get the SDK, he was just another nobody like us all who thought that he was a special guy. Nothing new...I mean we all tend to get that way at times, but HE went WAY over the top. "Hey, I made a game that took me five years!"...yup...and if you gave your story to a company, they could have it sitting on shelves in several months or so. Bob needs to understand that companies are there to actually get stuff done, to MAKE MONEY is a GOAL and is quite necessary to this God forsaken world we live in, and he clearly was going for that when he wanted to release the game as a commercial cart. If he wasn't going for cash, then he is just an idiot.

He says "It's not about the games or the fans, it's about spreading out and getting casual gamers to buy Wii Fit."...OF COURSE IT IS! Why else would it have been created? JUST FOR FUN?! Since the beginning of EVERYTHING, stuff has never really been FREE! It's been traded and sold! Money makes this damn world go 'round, not people being happy! It's the sad, pathetic truth for the human race...but we all have to accept it. We are a kind that thrives on the nice, crisp, money making world. Nintendo is one of them. Sure their characters are the kind that say the whole "You can do it"-type of attitude...BUT IT IS A DAMN VIDEO GAME! Bob is just a kid who needs to go to a therapist or something and get himself out of his loony world and back to reality.

He should consider taking his programming skills to a company interested in hiring, not sit in his room and beg Nintendo for their own personal stuff.

I really hope Bob doesn't kill anyone or hang himself. I don't care who the hell doesn't like him, can't stand him... Whatever. I just wonder where he's gone now, and how long will his site be up for....

Nintendo new intern: Who's this Bob I saw on the internet?
Nintendo employee: Dunno, I saw his name in the SPAM folder though.

On a serious note, he's gone completely insane. I'm not gonna be surprised if he ends up killing himself out of pure desperation...

100 bucks says Nintendo hasn't even looked at Bob's website once..

1: Order several thousand DSTT cards, and several thousand 32MB microSD cards.
2: Transfer your "awesome best ever better than anyone 5 years in the making" game to the microSD card.
3: Seal the microSD inside the DSTT with glue. And presto: a DS game cartridge.
4: ????
5: Failure. Profit!!!

Or, if you want to piss off Nintendo (like he said he wanted), leave out the glue.

Wow. Yeah, I concur, he has gone insane. That poor kid.

And the points about him potentially screwing himself in a career in this field (or any, honestly) are true too. I mean...what if someone decides to do a background check on this guy? Searching for his name will likely bring this up, and it'd be impossible to say that it's not him, what with the video and pictures and crap. Would you want to hire someone who pulls this kind of shit?

Manager: ...what are you doing?
Bob: I'm working on a program!
Manager: On company time?
Bob: Yup.
Manager: Despite the fact I explicitly told you to do something meaningful for the company?
Bob: THIS IS MEANINGFUL HOW DARE YOU I AM GOD YOU PEON RAAAAAAAAAAAAAR *destroys company property*

What I don't understand is why he is demanding that Nintendo publishes his game. I mean... he started it as a homebrew project, i.e., because he wanted to spend his free time working on it. If he was expecting making a profit with it, he should have contacted Nintendo before finishing his product. Like every single developer out there.

Just release the game already. Put a PayPal button on your webpage and let the people decide how much it's worth. Radiohead did it with In Rainbows and it worked quite well for them.

He should post to iPhone FIRST I'd say. sell it through the iTune's store I know a lot of people with iTouch's and iPhones that would buy it. Maybe Nintendo will take it if it sells well there.

YOU WIN A SMART POINT.

So, I just read he's quit. Does that mean he will release it as homebrew, or are we never goig to hear something about it?

His page:

http://www.bobsgame.com/

Right below the large purple letters, he says it's a joke and it's alive. I wouldn't put any faith into ANYTHING this nutcase says though. He needs a straitjacket badly.

I'm fairly sure that he's given up. I'm going to be angry if it doesn't get released as homebrew, now.
Seriously, add the paypal button like somebody else said and see what happens. It's better than nothing.
