Hacking Blocking updates question

I have a Wii U on 5.5.1 and would like to block updates (I don't have it connected to the net at the moment) and whenever I do with either TubeHax or CCProxy, the "confirmation" that the block is working doesn't show up.

How long should it take for the confirmation to show up?

You mean the red X on the download management icon? I just set up TubeHax again and it's not showing for me anymore either. :s

However, I cannot access the eShop, which means TubeHax is working. Somewhat.
