Gaming Black Sigil - New RPG

Looks nice, will give it a whirl at release.
Talkin of up coming RPGs, anyone see that new one coming from Sega, World Destruction or something, also looks quite nice from screens.

I like the retro graphics, that's the developers intentions.

yeah but there are so many simple graphics RPGs on DS already and I guess I would like to see them come out more like soma bringer or FFCC

The sprites and backgrounds really remind me of Chrono Trigger.. it's like a SNES game released 10 years later

The guys who made it must be big fans of SNES RPGs.. I'll give it a try!

As was mentioned above, there's no actual release date yet.

It really does look a lot like some SNES games which, I think, is awesome. *drools* I will be waiting for this one as well.

Its not by a Japanese company so no, its from a Canadian developer which is why I'm more interested in it than most RPG's plus the fact that I'm sick of anime style sprites now.

I am keeping my eye on it for the very same reasons ...

Me too this game looks very good by the screenshots
I hope it does not dissapoint us when it is released.

Final Fantasy III has been ported to the DS with remade graphics and some other stuff and the localised version is already available. Then there's FFIV released in Japan and coming to US, they might get to VI eventually...

I think the person meant FFVI in general. From what I know, the jap and us version had different names, one being FF3, the other being FF6...so he's probably talking about the same game... I, too, wish for a FFVI remake.

looking at the screenshots and videos, the game seems HEAVILY influenced by chrono trigger. Lets hope its anywhere near as good as it!

These are from World Destruction, I mentioned on first page of this thread. It's from Sega and has an awesome team behind it. Due in Japan Q3 this year, the manga is being released in English so chances for the game to be localised are very high.
I think it looks very interesting, maybe more so than Black Sigil...

The screenshots look amazing.
The World Of Destruction looks like it's going to be the best RPG for the Nintendo DS.
Finally,something to look forward to.
