Black screen is USBLoaderGX

Hey, I'm new to using Wii and I'm facing a little problem.
Some games in USBLoaderGX work just fine (NFS hot pursuit for example) but some don't (Wii Sports Resort for example)
I've tried many YT solutions but none worked. Can you help please?

Are you using a usb flash drive or an external hdd?
Do you get a black screen when launching Wii Sports Resort?
What video cables and tv are you using?
Also make sure to use this version of USBLOADERGX by @blackb0x

@GentleFrog You have some of the Hermes cios installed for some reason, curious what guide you've followed?
i suggest installing base 57 into the cIOS slot (249). And base 38 into the cIOS slot (251). Here it's in this guide.

I didn't really follow a guide, when the dealer sold me the Wii it was already modded.
And the cable is just the one that comes with the Wii.
Also my USBLoaderGX uses slot 250 if I'm not wrong

Just make sure your Wii is connected to the internet, when in the Homebrew Channel you can click the home button then update Homebrew Channel. After rebooting, click again on the home button and see if it's still ios61 on the top there. In that case you need to use this to install ios 58 to it.

What I meant is upgrading the homebrew did not work but I could fix it by changing the flash disk

Just a suggestion, but you might be better off following this guide here which CoolMe linked to [which is how I got started in soft-modding Wiis last year] and do a whole new soft-mod to avoid any complications in the future. Also, it would be wise that you understand how some of the soft-mod functions work in order to recognize what types of issues you could potentially come across later down the line so that you'll be fairly knowledgeable in troubleshooting them when they occur.

S/N: My preference is to use high capacity SD cards (or microSD cards) to contain my homebrew (dols) and ROMs/ISOs which also requires Configurable USB Loader to setup.
