Got a switch here with a modchip. Booting without SD card shows the no SD screen and with SD in it loads hekate and seems to all work ok. Problem starts when trying to boot hos, it shows Nintendo logo and then black screen. Any ideas what this could be

Which switch do you have? It is possible that you have to install extra resistors.

Both cfw and ofw both black screen. I used the cable with the resistor built in. Hekate is reading and ok so thinking it might be a case of rebuilding the band from scratch

@punks123 You should use a 100 Ohm resistor for CMD and DAT0.
Hi that is the chip i used for v1 patched. Can the resistor use for that chip. Also i took the chip out and boot to OFW and it showed the nintendo logo and went black after that.

If the screen remains black even without a chip, your Nand is corrupt. It's possible that your chip shot it. You would now essentially have to use a donor Nand to get access to the system again.
