I have a 4.0J wii. I'm trying to get the DLC from a PAL black ops so I'm trying to change my shop channel's region to PAL. It is currently saying that there are no new updates available, even though I have never installed an update on black ops multiplayer yet. Is it safe to use any region changer for this? If so, what do I do? I just want to get the black ops update.

AnyRegion changer is safe, assuming you know what you're doing. Once you use the shop channel the first time it gives your wii a new id for the shop channel, you need that to get the update. I don't know if that id doesn't save if you have a different region or something but that might be it. Can you play multiplayer on cod:bo? reinstalling the shop channel from a wad from NUSD might work (delete the shop channel you have first)
