Had a error code playing Donkey Kong Country. Thought no big deal. Got them before even without the SXC homebrew.

Powered off. Won't power on now. Tried everything. No SD card, SD card, dongle, no dongle. AC adapter no ac adapter. Power with + & - It's 100% charged i was on a nintendo docking station playing.

Any ideas? Any help would be appreciated!

yea at this point, think that is what happened. lol. Just got this yesterday too. fun while it lasted lol
oh no. did you got into rcm or did you use any third party products? certain chargers/docks just break (nyko) ur switch

This may sound dumb (but it worked for me before under difference circumstances but the same black screen). Remove both joycons, hold power for 12 seconds, snap the joycons back in and try to turn it on.

Yep. I was playing with the joycons undocked at the time. when it crashed i just pulled the switch out, power button didn't work, held for 12 seconds, powered off at that point. hasn't turned on back since

try to boot into maintenance mode, power off completely then hold vol up and down at the same time then press power
try to update
if nothing works initalize at the last resort

Just sits at the black screen like the battery is dead. I mean it could be a HW failure but honestly, i have played this switch maybe 5 hours in it's life time. it was 100% charged too. i guess i'll throw it on a charger again or something but the thing acts completely dead. I get no power up options

Or just let it sit on charge for a while

Yea i have it on there now but i rarely ever used it outside of the dock and i remember seeing "100%" battery before i started donkey kong. I'll let it charge and see what happens. hopes are not high

i'm trying a different charger outside of the dock but my hopes aren't high. Appreciate the quick responses though!
