that's what i said to my dad . he just doesn't like clips XP

and my little sis said that she " didnt" touch the clips which i doubt =P

i don't like the flush fitting problem though ... not that's a problem ! while a few clips are good . only problem is that when you use glue, it'll be practically impossible to fix xD

I don't remember the last time I actually took my flash cart out of my NDS, so for me the clips aren't an issue at all. If somehow my clips got messed up, I'd probably just glue it shut. I'm never going to open up my flash cart anyway, and if I needed to I'd just pry it open (some flash carts like the DSTT are glued shut at the factory).

I agree with you Bri. Like why/when would you even open it (unless it's broken of course). If you don't touch it, it'll be fine.

Yup, seems like the edge is the way to go with the cheap carts. You'll hear a ton of negative things about them but that only seems to come from those who don't own one and angry cyclods owners. Mine should be coming in shortly

I think it's great. As for the microSD not sitting flush, this is true for the first batch Edge carts. I have two, one sits flush and one does not. But it is not some *big* problem or anything. What we are talking about is the microSD sticking out literally a millimeter. Functionality is not at all affected. Funny thing is that the CycloDS itself had this exact same issue on the first run of carts....so maybe the Edge did copy it as close as possible...manufacturing error and all

But I would have to disagree entirely about this being a bigger problem than a cart held together by plastic clips. The whole clip issue was designed to save a fraction of a cent on the manufacturing of these carts (no screws), and in the process it makes for a flimsy device. First device I owned that utilized these was the DSX, and it was terrible. The cart "creaked", and one of these clips did eventually break off just from normal handling. Maybe the "pressure" of putting it into a DS too may times did it.

I need durability. I would like to pop the cart in a decade form now and STILL have it function correctly (and of course not fall to pieces). The Edge feels like that type of device. Again, your call (and only one man's opinion), but I can say that I have owned a dozen or so of these types of devices, and this is one of the best you can buy...regardless of the fact that it is a "budget" cart...

How did the clips break on the m3real?

i have 3 of the clips broken but that was only after cracking the card open 5-6 times when sakura first came out with the japan release with no hacks

apart from that, before that i've thrown it across the room several times with no problems what so ever....

IMO the M3 is only weakend if you try to open it incorectly.... once one breaks they will all start to break, but to make the first one break you have to try and open it
