Just tried for GW Launcher.dat and that worked, but rxtools didn't work for some reason.

Have you put rxinstaller.nds in the root of the sd card before to execute the web exploit?

I can confirm myself that this works. Although at the moment the loader for it lacks any GUI or anything. You'll see some flicker on the bottom screen. After that you'll have to hard reboot the system once you exit from the browser. (attempt to exit the browser before you actually reboot the system)

Once this does it's thing thing and you exit the browser, you'll see the "An error has occured" on the bottom screen. This isn't the error you get when the browser crashes. It's the kinda error you get when you attempt to boot a blocked DS flashcart or any other thing that might crash the system.

This appears to be as designed. After rebooting and then going back to DS profile, it booted my gateway loader and I'm able to enter gateway mode. If it works for that, it will work for everything else on a 4.x system via MSETT exploit.

And yes I did clear out DS profile by booting my DS flashcart first and making sure it wasn't installed anymore before I tested this. I can say this should be safe to use. This could use a GUI of some kind, but for now it's a really great start!

I've mirrored this and genned a QR code pointing to it for those brave enough to test this. I will not do so myself until I know it's safe:

The html file I pointed this two has a different file name but is identical to the one the original poster made in terms of what's contained inside the html file. I have other html loaders at the same folder location as this one, thus the reason for the custom file name. I know from experience testing my other ones that the different file names will not impact it's functionality.

I generated a code.bin for rxTools using webMultiloader, copied it to the sdcard and launched the URL. It works!!! Now I can launch rxTools using the DS profile exploit.

Hi,

as I wrote in a post before, I was able to install the DS profile exploit for rxTools on my old 3DS (sysNAND 4.5.0-8e) without the need of a DS flashcard or a GW.

But now I cannot launch GW Launcher.dat using the Browser (go.gateway-3ds.com) anymore. I double checked Launcher.dat, cleared the browser cache and cookies and tried it a couple of times. it always results in 'Error occurred'.

Is that a negative side effect of the 'Spider DS Profile RopLoader (4.x only)' or so? Does it perhaps modify some part of the web browser? Or what could be the problem?
Can anyone else reproduce this issue?

UPDATE SOLVED:

It works at least. Not sure if that solved the problem but I created a favorite for go.gateway-3ds.com, cleaned browser cache & cookies, restarted the browser and used the favorite. With the second attempt it worked.

I read that we need to generate the code.bin ourself using webMultiloader but how can you do that? I also notice that my web browser version is 1.7498 , does it work with this version?

Alternately you could run FBI.cia, press select, choose gateway 4x, and your DS profile will be fixed.
