Hacking Best way to go about a 9.4 fw n3ds

Buddy got a n3ds on 9.4 and I wanna know whats best way to get luma + emunand on that (thats the way i wanna do it).

Do i make him downgrade? If so, whats the best way yo do that from 9.4.

Or is there an exploit for 9.4 to use to install emunand and then like browser launch luma.

Pls help.

Emunand setups are outdated, especially on the N3DS.

It will be faster and simpler to get a9lh + Luma by following Plailect's github guide.

I expected this comment but thats not what i want to do here, i just want to know best way to go from 9.4.0.20 to 9.2 or is that needed.

Plailect's guide will tell you how to dowgrade to 9.2. This is mandatory no matter what kind of CFW setup you want on your console.

I still advise that you install a9lh, since it's now just a one click install after you reach 9.2. But you can create an emunand and boot that instead if you really want.

Plailect's guide has downgrade instructions as well. Everything you need is contained in that guide.

Ok so the guide says a browser hack at 9.4 is all thats needed to enter hbl and then sysdowngrader wicked.

From there just use resnand installer and boom bang
