I desperately need a new phone...
I have £310 so money no object I guess you could say,
what'd you guys recommend?

You buy a broadband top-up ... the higher the top-up, the more net time you get for the next 30 days ... £15 top-up will get you about 100 hours, for example ... still works like a normal phone, too.

Really fast download speeds, too, for a phone ... up to 7meg, depending on the provider and the phone ... and, if the phone can take a memory card ... they usually can nowadays, you can do a lot with it ... like torrenting on the go

There is no "best phone".

Explain what your needs are, what features you're looking for etc, and maybe you will receive a more relevant answer.

The Samsung F700 isn't a great choice regardless. The iPhone simply outclasses the F700, and at a lower price point. If you WiMo, or prefer something with a physical keyboard, the TyTNII would be better as well.
