It's like a Pocket PC, and the HSDPA gives it mobile broadband ... great for geeks [IMG] lol

It means you can have mobile broadband internet access on your phone, or whatever .. they make laptops and stuff that take HSDPA sims now, too.

Just like a regular phone sim, but with a broadband fast connection.

Does it cost extra to use this feature like GPRS does?

You buy a broadband top-up ... the higher the top-up, the more net time you get for the next 30 days ... £15 top-up will get you about 100 hours, for example ... still works like a normal phone, too.

Really fast download speeds, too, for a phone ... up to 7meg, depending on the provider and the phone ... and, if the phone can take a memory card ... they usually can nowadays, you can do a lot with it ... like torrenting on the go [IMG]

    There is no "best phone".

Explain what your needs are, what features you're looking for etc, and maybe you will receive a more relevant answer.

The Samsung F700 isn't a great choice regardless. The iPhone simply outclasses the F700, and at a lower price point. If you WiMo, or prefer something with a physical keyboard, the TyTNII would be better as well.

mentally make a list of your priorities and start with popular phones. They always hit certain spots and miss others.
