I need a new micro sd card, I had a 2 gb kingston japan but instead of going through the trouble of getting one there a good alternative that's just as fast and can play all games np?

Basically... Class 4 or Class 6 that are made in Japan.

Class 2's and the ones made in China or Taiwan are typically slow.

I had to buy a faster micro sd, beacuse Castlevania : Portait of Ruin freezes on slow TF.
Sandisk 4gb was too slow for PoR.
I got Transcend 8gb class6 (albeit being from China), it worked flawlessly and have not yet had another TF read/write speed problem yet.

Also, I tried PoR with a Sandick 8gb class 6, and it froze.

...i don't think sandisk is as good as people say.
(my cards weren't fake, i bought them directly from Amazon.)

Hmm Thank you guys for your answers

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the classes are only for writing speeds?

You are correct, but the read speed is also affected by the Class, as that is usually given an (x) rating.

Class 2 13x

Class 4 26x

Class 6 40x

Jakthelad is correct, and to further elaborate on the explanation...
To the best of my knowledge, Write speed is always slower than Read speed, so it stands to reason that the faster Write speed something has, the faster it's Read speed -can- be and usually is.
Sometimes there is an upper limit, like a DVD player only needs to read at a certain maximum speed because that is the limit of which playback occurs.
