Gaming Best game for 8 players?

I always play mario kart when me and my friends gather up to play together
is there any other recommendation for 8 players game?

so far we already tried mkds and bomberman

Every other suggestion will be sub-par to these.

you should kind of ask... which games actually SUPPORT 8 player multiplayer AT ALL. because most dont.

Definitely Advance Wars Dark Conflict! Awesome game, with 8 players you're gonna have fun for quite some hours... I recommand to team up, else some will be killed really early, which sucks.
